Sharing your phone number or any personal contact details on this Platform is entirely your own decision. While we take reasonable precautions to protect the information stored on our systems, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. Data breaches can occur. Please only share contact information you are comfortable making publicly accessible, and be aware that once published in a business directory, that information may be seen, stored, or used by third parties beyond our control.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Registration data: Name, business name, address, category, contact numbers, email, and verification documents submitted during member registration.
  • Account data: Login credentials (username/email) and account activity.
  • Customer data: Email address if you create a customer account.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, search queries, and general analytics (via Google Analytics).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and display your business listing on the directory.
  • To verify your identity during registration.
  • To send OTP codes for account security.
  • To allow customers to discover and contact your business.
  • To improve the Platform through anonymised analytics.

3. Public Visibility of Your Information

Information submitted as part of your business listing — including your business name, address, phone number, WhatsApp number, and business images — will be publicly visible to all visitors of Agraj Business Directory. This is the core purpose of a business directory.

Verification documents (e.g. Aadhaar) are stored securely and are only accessible to Platform administrators for verification purposes. They are never publicly displayed.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Supabase (a managed cloud database and authentication platform). We implement reasonable security measures including role-based access control and OTP verification for sensitive operations.

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data, and you submit information at your own risk.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your publicly listed business information is visible to all directory visitors. We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (OTPs) and Google Analytics for anonymised usage tracking.

6. Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Update or correct your business information (via your seller dashboard).
  • Remove your listing from the directory (contact an administrator).
  • Delete your account and associated data (contact an administrator).

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication and Google Analytics cookies for usage analytics. By using the Platform you consent to the use of these cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
